Gibbstown Volunteer Fire Fighters Assist Broad Street School Facilities Manager retrieving the School Flag

You've probably heard of a firefighter rescuing a cat stuck in a tree, but rescuing a flag? Broad Street School's flag was stuck very high up in a tree and facilities manager, Gerardo Batista did not have equipment that could reach. So in order to retrieve the flag, he simply placed a call to the Gibbstown Volunteer Fire Company. The company responded immediately, retrieved the school's flag and Old Glory is back where she belongs, flying proudly in front of the school.
